Great work, unbelievable. Really something special

We were looking for the possibility of having a modern artist’s carpet made individually. Already our first letter was answered warmly and full of enthusiasm and there was an exciting back and forth with the planning of this work. Ms. Ventura inspired us with her presence, professionalism and empathy. The excerpt and the manner of execution of a work by Wassily Kandinsky that we love were determined together. The one-time production and development of the carpet then took place in India. During this time we were constantly informed about the individual work steps with exciting pictures. A few days ago we received the valuable shipment, well packed, exactly as predicted. Our expectations were exceeded and we thanked Ms. Nayla Ventura with this email:

This rug has such an important place in my children’s room

I made this rug for my children because I wanted them to know my love is always with them, wheverer they are. It will reach them and they will know. They are still little now, but some day, when they move out, they will know that this is what will never change. My love and kisses will be sent to them! Memories have never been so tangible

You can feel the quality

Every time I walk into my son’s room I smile at the rug he designed with Rug your life. You can feel the quality under your feet and see the quality in the workmanship and the colour. Our son (aged 6 then) worked with Nayla to choose the colours from his chosen painting so he was part of the process ensuring he was as exciting as I when it arrived.
It does take time to be made as works of true craftsmanship should !

When we unrolled it, it was insane

This rug is an incredible technical achievement that you and your team have made. The way in which Delaunay’s painting is so carefully represented, the care you put into choosing the colours, and how each knot is made so perfectly, just cannot describe it. I would have loved it if he had been able to see it himself. Who knows, maybe he has? 😉 Really. We thought we knew how it would turn out, even though you had not made this carpet before, but with your pictures and updates we really thought we knew what was coming. But oh my goodness did we not. When we unrolled it, it was insane. We are usually very calm people. But let me tell you, we were not at that moment. We are emptying all our floors to fill them with more Delaunay rugs.
