A bespoke handmade rug, sometimes called a custom luxury rug in interior design and trade contexts, is a one-of-a-kind rug designed for one client, based on their space, aesthetic vision, chosen materials and exact dimensions. Skilled artisans then make it by hand from scratch, prioritising craftsmanship, originality and longevity over cost optimisation.

Fine Art Rugs
A fine art rug reinterprets an existing artwork into a functional, handcrafted rug, respecting its composition, proportion, and artistic intent. This includes two distinct approaches:
- Fine art collaboration rugs, developed directly with a living artist or their studio, from concept through final approval.
- Fine art reproduction rugs, such as our Bauhaus collection, which faithfully translate historical artworks into rug form under the appropriate licence or public domain rights, honouring artists no longer living.
Both require advanced technical and colour-mapping skill, and are commissioned by collectors, artists, and interior designers.
