From the brief
A restored farmhouse on Germany’s North Sea coast called for rugs that distilled the calm and ease the family feels each time they return. They do not live here year-round, but this is where they slow down: mornings by the window, afternoons with a book, the coast just beyond the door. We took cues from the home itself and its natural surroundings, alongside the family’s love of reading and a restrained, Scandinavian sense of calm.

A grand apartment in Barcelona asked for rugs with the same wit, confidence and cosmopolitan ease as the family who lives there. We took cues from Vinçon, the iconic Barcelona design store, the city’s Modernista architecture, and the Mediterranean coast, alongside the family’s memories of London.

A Haussmannian apartment in Paris needed rugs with the same quiet intelligence and warmth as the family who lives there. We took cues from their love of literature and history, wildflowers from the French countryside, ancient inscriptions and Roman letterforms, and a fragment of an original sketch for Notre-Dame by the cathedral’s architect.

Bespoke Design Creation
We refine the sketches, test the palette and select materials for your concept. You approve the final rendering before production starts.

Handmade Production
Master artisans produce the rug entirely by hand, followed by washing, trimming, and a final quality inspection.
